Nowadays, many chicken farmers are gradually feeling that traditional chicken farming equipment cannot meet their needs, and are gradually moving from traditional artificial farming equipment to automated farming. The breeding industry is developing towards intensification, planning, and standardization.

Automated chicken farming equipment has a high breeding density per unit space and a large breeding output, which can achieve a reasonable doubling of benefits. If chickens are raised in flat or shed, they will occupy more space. If automated cage farming is used, the density should be higher. It can be said that chicken coops with the same building area will raise more chickens. By using automated chicken farming equipment and professional fecal cleaning and feeding equipment, the manure in the chicken coop can be cleaned in a timely manner, while also ensuring the cleanliness and pollution-free environment of the coop, providing a good living environment for the chickens. Using an automatic feeding system to feed the chickens can ensure uniform feeding, which can improve the uniformity of chicken growth and increase the egg laying rate.

1. Cage age

The appropriate age for laying hens to be caged is generally between thirteen and eighteen weeks of age, which can ensure that the weight of young laying hens is within normal standards and improve their egg production rate during the breeding process. We should note that the late cage loading time should not be later than twenty weeks of age; And even when the chicken herd is growing well, we can continue to twist the cage at the age of 60 days. When placing cages, we also need to group and batch them according to the different growth of the laying hens.

2. Facilities and equipment

After the laying hens are caged, we still need to ensure their original growth environment, otherwise this will also affect their growth and production. We need to equip corresponding breeding equipment and install various breeding facilities before installing the cage; Furthermore, strict maintenance and replacement of these facilities and equipment are necessary to avoid problems in the later breeding process.

3. Scientifically catching chickens

When caging laying hens, we need to be scientific and not move too much. We should be gentle with our hands and feet, and not use too much force. We must not disturb the flock of chickens, otherwise it will cause excessive reactions, which has a significant impact on the growth and production of laying hens. Generally, the appetite of chicken flocks that are subjected to stress reactions will decrease, and then gradually weaken, seriously affecting the health of the flock.

4. Prevent the increase of incidence rate

The operation of laying hens in the cage should be correct, and attention should be paid to the changes in temperature difference after the cage is filled, and the temperature should be adjusted reasonably. Usually, the cage is placed at night and the feeding is changed after the cage is placed, with a reasonable allocation of nutrient balanced feed and scientific pesticide control. This can prevent the occurrence of some diseases and improve the quality of laying hens.
